Get rid of Charlotte, New Orleans, Sacramento

Add Seattle and Las Vegas

I like it when cities with relatively weak fanbases have sports teams. Tickets are cheap and very easy to get....if you happen to be visiting in that particular town.

Went to a Marlins game last year and had a great time in that indoor park. $15 and sat right on the first base line.

It makes sense, more teams equals less of a pie. The only owners that want expansions are the ones looking to sell in the future. Expansion would increase the teams valuation. Dolan ain't trying to sell MSG or the team its a cash cow for him.

Local rights is the genesis of Dolan's beef with Silver.

I don't think it's the only reason but it's definitely a reason. And some of the owners just want to keep as much of the pie as possible. Not spinning off the WNBA from the latest NBA media rights deal is a sign of that.

It's an option but not a sensible one, at least in my opinion.

Divisions
No homecourt advantage, no guaranteed top 3 seed, no re-seeding by round.
Divisions in the NBA are about as impactful and necessary as my nipples.

Why not just focus on relocation of failing teams with a weak fanbase and transfer them over to Vegas and Seattle
