is there usually a primetime east/west matchup on opening night? only one i can think of was miami/dallas on x-mas day, but that was during the lockout season so they had to cram games into the schedule

Champs almost always play at home on opening night.

The NBA will want LeBron playing at home for his first game. But they damn sure arent giving him the Spurs.

I'm predicting Bulls @ Cavaliers (maybe Knicks @ Cavs) followed by Lakers @ Spurs on opening night, possibly Clippers @ Spurs or Thunder @ Spurs but I think the league demands that Laker audience first night. I don't think they're giving us Heat vs. Cavs first night, but I'm pretty sure we'll see Cavs @ Heat on Christmas.
