I don't give a damn about Starcraft or Warcraft and most importantly if square thought console gamers would want those versions they would make it for consoles...y'all getting scraps and think y'all feasting.
those games don't really work on a console.

1. they're thinking man's games many console gamers don't wanna have to think and formulate strategies.
2. they require more precise input devices than a controller.

yall are sitting up here arguing over silly stuff. consoles basically are closed box idiot proof PCs. and "pc gaming" is just the open box variety. consoles aren't better than PCs they basically are PCs. the only difference is PCs don't have companies like Sony and Microsoft finding, bankrolling, and developing smaller studios and nourishing them so they grow into a Naughty Dog or a Bungie.

Your right big picture a console is a computer it's all the same just like debating iphone vs android vs windows.

I have a rig I built myself but if I can cop a steambox with the specs I want next year for a cheaper price than building it myself not to mention it already being built into a small form factor case and comes with a controller, I'm getting that. I can still tinker with it so that's the beauty of it. I want a steam box. I say again, I rather just pay for something that would cost the same or more than building it myself even though I can do it.

Also for those arguing against the steambox or pc gaming pertaining to exclusives that'll make console peasants jump ship, you're missing the big point. You're forgetting the PC is still a PC and isn't JUST a gaming platform, it can still be your personal computer. If you were in the market for a new PC and you see this small sleek box that comes with a controller, SteamOS, and is priced accordingly, wouldn't you buy that instead of buying some off the shelf compaq pc?? Not to mention you're told you can simply install windows on there if you like??

You now have a PC that can play games better than whats out on consoles now, it can also play games from the past so you're pretty much copping something with virtually 100% backwards compatibility AND it's still a regular PC. Hell you don't even have to plug it up to a living room tv if you may. I didn't build a gaming PC with the intention to give up console gaming, I just copped it as me wanting a faster computer that can also play games better than the ancient consoles that were out there. Asking what will make someone switch to PC is like asking what exclusives will Nintendo make to compel you to switch to Wii U. It's not about switching, you'll just now want a Wii U too.

Final Fantasy, Street Fighter and Devil May Cry arent console exclusives, they come out for PC and theres ctually PC exclusives of final fantasy that console players will never get.

second all those games you listed can be played through emulators on the PC right now. Why dont you load up Starcraft 2 for us on your console :troll:

And yeah Call of Duty and Halo ended up more popular on console..because it made it more popular to the casual crowd while less popular with the competitive crowd. Just like in America, competitive gaming controls the top dollar in video gaming and is really the only opinion that truly matters. While yall spending 10 hours a day on call of duty literally accomplishing nothing except waiting for your stats to reset in a year when the next one comes out, theres people playing PC games 4-6 hours a day making hundreds of thousands of dollars to a million + every year.

We can use a game like Battlefield 4 for example. Sold way more copies on console than PC. but the only players people watch it play are PC players (a PC player will have 2,000 people watching him play, getting money from ad revenue and donations, etc) while a top console streamer might have like 30 viewers.. cause no one gives a fukk about console gaming at the end of the day, its the McDonalds of video gaming . Even the cash tournaments for Battlefield 4 are only on PC (even though for this game its the least popular platform) because that tournament knows theres gonna be millions of people watching the top PC gamers play and they'll recoup some of their money just from Ads, etc.

See, now you're selective reading. I didn't say they were outright exclusive to console (though still, most of the ones I named are). I asked did they start on the PC, which you know fukking well they didn't. Also, even when they do come out on pcs, it's not at the same time as console releases, but much after, for the ones you named from my list.

LOL @ you bringing up emulators. As WinB said here, and I said in another thread a few days ago, those emulators to play console games come out well after that generation of gaming is at the tail end or outright over. So miss me with that 5 years later shyt.

Yawn @ you still pumping up your selective pc-to-console games argument. PC gamers love to pat themselves on the back. That master race shyt is the stupidest, gayest, most over used term and sentiments ever. Just some ole bullshyt, elitist, wanna-be classism shyt that nerds cling to. shyt is dumb, especially considering that at the end of the day, consoles and pcs benefit from one another.

It's real shyt...so the only games I get will be digital downloads I can't go to best but or walmart and play te system in the store? Don't hear a lot of people talking about CPU gaming...

Coli brehs am I the only one who doesn't know a bunch of computer gamers?
the only one i know is actually my best friend around here. he's tried to convert me to pc gaming more times than i count, but he'll never be able to succeed. i can't stand using a keyboard and mouse to play a game. i get it, it's more precise. i really don't give a fukk, cause most importantly it just doesn't feel comfortable to me. i've always been a console gamer, and it'll never change. you guys can keep the better graphics. i like the ease of the console. i really did like the idea of the steam machine, but at the same time i could just create a new build and i'm pretty sure use a gamepad for just about any game out there. i've actually played emulators more times on this computer than i ever have a pc game.

Someone will come in and say "You can use a controller on the PC if you want" but they arent taking into account that if you are using a controller and everyone else is using a KB/M you will be at a serious disadvantage. They always leave out that everyone else will still be using KB/M.
