i was a das efx fan the previous summer, but man, once i heard "funky child" & "chief rocka", they had to take a backseat in regards to that style on my radio.

Das efx was more grimy, i know i liked them more THEN but lords had way more potential. Chief rocka was a universal banger.

It's funny cuz when i listen to das efx now that shyt is real lightweight, but their look, their videos, them being so animated, made me think nikkas on the east coast were fukkin insane LOL.

Like yo these nikkas walking around in the sewer? :mindblown:

Those dudes had a strong year in 1993.

yea, its a shame they couldn't reciprocate that success with their following album.

its crazy how rap used to shift so quickly back in the day. their whole style was a wrap before they even put their 2nd joint out. these days, the same rappers have been on the radio making the same songs for years.
