2014 was the last film of the series to pop off and man does time fly. This picks up after part 3( not sure how soon after) and it goes into more details of Kenshin past to expose his life and who is out for revenge.

Same Director, same cast...same kick ass fight scenes. Don't worry there is A Prequel film that should drop this year.

I was hesitant to watch this because I was nervous it might be trash compared to the anime/OVA, but watched The Beginning last night and that shyt was a great movie. Gonna watch the rest ASAP.

I watched the first 2 in the OG trilogy. They’re all right. Don’t know when I’ll watch the last one, but I don’t think I’ll check this recent trilogy.

Ok so just to clarify the OG Trilogy of films is basically following the original Manga/Anime and this new trilogy is a prequel correct?
