i'm saying not everybody did. in fact it was just a small segment of society. people wore clothes like that but for most part a normal person looked normal.

today for instance

20 years from now people will think everybody dressed like this in 2010-2013

when in reality most people you see look like this

your 70s example is the exact reason i brought this up. alot of kids think everybody looked like

when in reality they looked like

they're are fashion extremes but the general public doesn't embrace them universally it's usually a small group of people.rappers, rockstar, their teenage fans for a short period before college,
