the details are new. but if you follow lebron on social you know that nikka is full of shyt when it comes to books he "reads", albums he "listens to", etc... he's been clowned endlessly for that shyt over the years. i also dont think it's a surprise russell felt a way about what lebron would say vs. how he would act when the cameras were off. we heard similar with kyrie.

my point is... what's the point? russ is gone. lebron is nearly done. russ is heart on his sleeve-real. lebron is real too, but he's also hyper-conscious about his image and willing to play politics to get the end result he's after (news flash: playing politics may not be for everyone, but that doesnt make it inherently bad either). russ aint got time for all that; he's gonna give it to you straight.

i dont think any of this represents some "this is extra foul"-type shyt, because there are challenges that come from dealing with BOTH personality types. they're just different people who didn't vibe.

not gonna change the admiration i hold for either of them.
