They were video taping illegally teams sideline signals.
They were also video taping teams walkthroughs that they go through the day before the games
After that...They patriots were forced to turn over ALL evidence that they had from videotaping and 2 days later the league reviewed it and DESTROYED all the tapes. Meaning it was so bad that they couldn't let this get out(see ray rice). If that shyt would have leaked the probably they would have removed the patriots 3 superbowls(see reggie bush and USC)
The league fined Bellicheat the HIGHEST AMOUNT YOU CAN FINE which was 500k and fined the team 250k! They then took away multiple picks!
Then to add on top of that! Years later Josh Mcdaniels(who got the broncos head coaching job because of how good he was with the patriots) who was the Off. Coord so he knows how Bellicheat does things got caught video taping the 49ers walkthrough! He then tried to say that yes we did record them but we didn't watch it

True. But this was after their Superbowl wins when the rules had been changed. Prior to the 2006 season what the Patriots did was in fact legal.
Hell the Jets got caught cheating after the rules had changed too but their was no fuss over it

Idk why Goddell destroyed the tapes or for what reason....it certainly didn't help our public perception. But the issue wasn't even the tapes themselves...it was the location where the taping was being done.

Idk why you're bringing up what Josh Mcdaniels personally did when that has jackshyt to do with the Patriots organization as a whole, and he wasn't even employed by the Patriots during that period.
