I'm not going to pretend that I've read Dugin, but if you read the summaries of his works, everything Putin is doing becomes plainly apparent.

And what gains/concessions have they made? Stole chunks of Ukraine and Georgia while most of Russians neighbours and former Soviet Bloc countries have joined NATO (Czech, Slovania, Poland, Estonia, Lithiuana, Romania ++++ etc.,) it goes on and on. While Russia has managed to fukk their economy for literally decades to come and have lost over 250K men in two years who are killed, disappeared or injured from the war.
This ain’t the 70s and 80s no more. Russia is broke and a joke of a country. They got natural resources and nukes over a large land mass that gives them some clout but they have no sway geopolitically like they used to and this war was attempt to establish that again and they’ve failed miserably.
