Combat report: Over 1,600 terror targets destroyed in 1 month of Russia's Syria op

The deployment of a Russian strike force of 34 combat jets and 21 helicopters showed how billions invested in the armed forces by President Vladimir Putin had paid off. Within days of arriving they were flying attack missions, and have now clocked up something like 1,000 of them.

Obama is bytch made.

America has been conducting airstrikes in Syria for the past three year with very little results.Meanwhile,Russia has been in Syria fo 30 DAYS with 1,6000 airstrikes on ISIS targets.

The world stage is laughing at Obama, especially after he recently announced that he will be sending 50 special operation advisors to Syria. Is he serious? 50?This guy is in over his head.

50?

Fyck outta here.

Putin only intervened in Syria was because Assad was losing the war. It was a desperate move to ensure that Alawite territory didn't get overrun. :dame:

But now that Russia's gone in and mostly attacked the FSA/Jabhat Al Nusra - they've made ISIS more powerful. In fact, ISIS just took Northern Aleppo. Moreover, it doesn't mean Assad's Syrian Arab Army is doing better. Other countries (Qatar, Turkey, Saudi Arabia) have increased shipments of anti-tank weaponry in to Syria.

The Russians told the Syrian army to attack on all front with Russian air support. The result is that Syria has lost hundreds of tanks over the past month at an unsustainable rate.

Russia, at best can be at the negotiation table if that how the war goes.

Running a country that's nearly destroyed. Sounds fun. Sounds profitable, especially given that Russia's economy has shrunken for 3 straight quarters. Yep. Putin's a genius :troll:
They're indebted to Russia. :manny:

Man you really don't understand the region.
Syria means something far less to the USA than it does to Putin.

Putin trying to keep a buffer between him and Isis.

Obama sees no reason to heavily invest into deployment in Syria because it's not a USA problem.

Bull shyt.

Opposition to Assad is being funded by outside countries which explains why Russia stepped in.Show me a link stating 100 Syrian tanks have been destroyed in a month.

I'm well versed in geopolitics.

If Syria is not a USA problem, then why did Obama stick his big head into the civil war? Why is he now sending 50 special operation advisors to Syria when Russia has over 600 of its soldiers on the ground in Syria?

Indeed, Syria has nothing America needs or want, nonetheless, Syria has something America wants to control which is another leader. America wants to pick the next leader of Syria.
