Sanctions are not working because Syria's commercial trade with the U.S is inexistent, his biggest commercial partners are Russia, China and Europe, and the Europeans don't care about Obama war in middle east, they have other priorities. Assad is the only leader who can keep some kind of peace in the region, if we get rid of him, Syria will become like Iraq and Lybia, in the hands of the terrorist we're fighting.

Russia has 600 ground troops in Syria compared to 50 American special operations advisors. Russian fighters are killers. What's going to happen is, Russia will intentionally attack those special operation forces which will force Obama to send more troops to Syria.
