Sounds like Trump who can only speak for himself and not for others on his campaign.
People will just get smarter, it could also be a bluff of his people to scare some off. Cause shyt is getting into serious territory.
But don't think it'll end now, the floodgates have opened.

Either way it goes Trump is getting impeached either this year or in January 2019. Those are literally the only options that the Republicans have.
They can impeach Trump now and install Pence, which would give the Republicans time to ride out the backlash and recover in time for the 2018 congressional elections. Or the Republicans can fight the impeachment of Trump and then suffer overwhelming election losses in the 2018 congressional races, which would put the Democrats in charge and Trump and probably Pence would definitely get impeached then.
The more that things comes out the more likely it seems that it is the Republicans that want to impeach Trump this year, while the Democrats have more interest in stretching this thing out through the election in 2018, which might allow the independent investigation more time to bloody up the entire Republican party in addition to Trump.
I really don't think they're in much danger for 2018. Their base is still going to support Trump no matter what and the map is so gerrymandered it barely matters how much the rest of the country hates him.
A couple people could get primaried, but for the most part the GOP can do what they want right now with little consequence.

Defending Trump is a LOSE situation if you can't stop the investigation from progressing which rethugs have clearly failed to do...They tried to obstruct the investigation by blaming the smoke alarm but couldn't stop the fool from digging his own grave...
Either way the mascot is getting impeached but if rethugs do it now they will have three years to save face with their voters...It will look far worse if they lose seats and the Dems impeach the moron...Downright unrecoverable damage if that happens...

If Trump becomes too toxic they'll impeach him. Mike Pence and Paul Ryan and #2 and #3 in line to be president. Either would be preferred to Trump by the establishment.

That's the thing though, there is no "too toxic".
Don't think in terms of what you or I might think, think of the Republican base who voted Trump, 90% of whom still support him. No matter what Trump does or what they find on him, most of his base will support him regardless so there won't be any point where Trump becomes enough of a liability that they'd actually impeach.
