Ruth Bader Ginsburg deserves all the smoke she's getting for Roe v. Wade being overturned but, Harry Reid deserves smoke too

RBG thought she was too good to retire under President Obama eventhough she was already up there age wise. Spent her 80s fighting to stay alive to outlive the Trump Presidency instead of enjoying retirement because she was hardheaded :snoop:

Harry Reid used the nuclear option back in 2013 to do away with the Supermajority requirement to choose Supreme Court justices. Thanks buddy. Republicans now needed no supermajority to jam through any of their three picks :snoop:

I'll only fault them 25% though.

Americans still voted for Trump in the first place. That's 50% right there :scust:

Then Democrats as a whole had 50 years to codify Roe v. Wade and never did. That's the last 25% :yeshrug:

With all this going on and more pivotal judgments to come in the next week or two I'm starting to believe that Democrats love these scenarios where all they have to do is point to how bad Republicans are so when/if they win they don't have to do anything. They don't do much to actually prevent or solve these problems when they have power. I mean right after the roe v wade decision many people talked about how they got emails and texts asking them to donate to the DNC with no plan of action or promises. As the news broke of the decision you had a group of democrats on the steps of the capitol singing some patriotic song. Jim Clyburn when asked about the decision says it's "anti-climactic." SMH

They don’t have an actual plan and that’s been well apparent now for years if people were paying attention. It’s always excuses as to why they can’t get shyt done and you’ll have schills on this site defending every word.

If only y’all cared as much before your mistake was clear and it was too late to correct it.

Bet you wish you could suck the past 30 years up in a vacuum and toss it away like your unborn children but you can’t.

That's life, kids.

Harry Reid got rid of 60 votes rule for district and appeal judges only because McConnell was purposely blocking Obama's picks. So Harry's rule changed it to 51 votes. The Supreme Court still required 60. McConnell got rid of the 60 vote rule to put Gorshich and all others on the court. But you're right in the sense that Harry started it.

I think its white women's fault and to a smaller extent, Bernie Bro white men. Hilary Clinton told them the importance of the Supreme Court and the need to protect Roe vs Wade. They were too busy shytting on her.

More white women voted for Trump than their own white woman.

Those Bernie Bro white men for the most part could have cared less about Roe vs Wade, so that message wasn’t going to resonate them anyways. The true culprit as you mentioned are the same people who are now furious about the decision.

You think so? I feel like a solid portion of these liberal white men out there protesting with these white women voted for Bernie.

They may have voted for Bernie, but the tipping point of Hilary losing was namely white women who didn't support her and instead voted elsewhere or not at all. That's who that Roe vs Wade decision from Hilary should have been directed to as the decision was going to affect them more. Granted, Hilary was a shyt candidate so it was more of an issue about the messenger rather than the actual message she was trying to convey.
