This article was a really good read. Having dealt with someone close to me committing suicide, I can't help but think about how my life would be different had things gone a little differently. I'm sure countless people on this site have a somewhat similar story, and for that reason alone the article, although a bit lengthy, is worth a read. Posting in the Locker Room because it's not about an athlete, but about a man coping with what has to be about the lowest point in life. Also, an interesting statistic from the article:

For each person who dies by suicide, there are an estimated six survivors, people who cared deeply for the deceased and are left grappling with what occurred. Many survivors are plagued by guilt, anger and shame that persists for years and often lifetimes.
