I saw it in IMAX 70 mm in Ft. Lauderdale last week. that shyt was worth the money, I should have saw it when it came out in imax 70 mm the first time. I seen this movie about 25x and I got it digital. I need the steelbook. I also coped the cd format soundtrack. By the way do not waste your time watching this in regular imax like i did cause I couldn’t see it again in 70mm cause I don’t live in Ft. Lauderdale which is the only imax 70 mm theater in the state. Screen was blurry as hell didn’t do it no justice.

Disagree with y'all takes. Film was a one and done for me. I really don't understand the hype behind it and think folks make up layers to the movie to make it deeper than what it is.

It wasn't bad imo just mediocre and can't see myself rewatching it.

nikkas just starved to see Black people on film in non c00nish roles so I get it. This was an entertaining movie but I`m shocked this thread is still even living lol. They planted the seeds for a universe (the twins in Chicago, the Navtive Tribe, the Irish folks, the 90s), and if they did make stuff around those I`d watch but if they never do and keep this self contained Id be fine too.

The movie is addicting cause its original, shows black folks in a positive role with no gimmicks, vampires coming out of left field, and the characters are like real people you can relate too. Brah, I seen the movie 25x!! Ryan got himself onto something I cannot wait for what he got next after black panther 3.

I just watched the movie and it was good. The one thing that I didn't like about the movie was the story. I still can't tell you what the movie was about. I also felt that the movie was too long.

I saw this opening week in IMAX 70mm.

Definitely 1 of best of the year.

Some of the original songs I liked.
The background music soundtrack was off to me cause it didn't sound like real Mississippi music. Then when I learned that the executive producer of music was a white dude from Sweden that explained it. :mjlol:

I tried rewatching this on HBOMax and turned it off when it got to the vampire storyline. That really is the weakest part of the movie.

There are so few movies this year that I even sorta liked.

Sinners
Weapons
Bring Her Back (not as good as people hyped it but still liked it)

I need to see The Ugly Stepsister, The Long Walk.

So many movies I seen that I fukking hated like Black Phone 2, Heart Eyes, The Alto Knights, Hurry Up Tomorrow, War of the Worlds, etc.
