Cardi B is never shy about speaking her mind and as the coronavirus continues to keep people at home as they attempt to “flatten the curve,” she’s speaking out about access to tests.

Clad in a face mask, the
metro Atlanta resident took to Instagram Tuesday to discuss the “confusion” over testing for the new virus, which causes the disease COVID-19.

View the four-minute Instagram video, which Cardi B captioned, “I said what I said,”
here.

Cardi B, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar, said it causes confusion when “45” — meaning President Donald Trump — tells people who are not exhibiting symptoms not to get tested for the coronavirus because there are not enough of the tests. She said it’s puzzling when asymptomatic celebrities are able to get tested.

“If a celebrity is saying, ‘Hey, listen. I don't have no symptoms. I'm feeling good. I'm feeling healthy. I don't feel like nothing, but I went and got tested and I'm positive for the coronavirus,’ that cause confusion.”

She added that “the general public, people that work regular jobs, people that get regular paychecks, the middle class, the poor ... they're not getting treated...like celebrities.”

The “Press” performer also took issue with everyday people who test positive for the coronavirus being sent home to
self-quarantine. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends staying away from others and remaining at home for 14 days.

“Where do they think they sending people home to?” Cardi B asked, adding that not everyone has “the luxury” to go to a big house and “just stay away from people.” She said that “a lot of people” live in small apartments “with multiple people.”

It is exactly why I feel this shutting down the country and social distancing is stupid. Like she said, once someone tests positive, you send them home. A home they likely share with multiple people thus the issue with Italy thus affecting them. Cardi B is the only one with an ounce of sense in this whole “crisis”.

What's your alternative to self quarantining?
Give ourselves to God and accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. Carry on like humans done in all of history. Whoever dies, dies. I’m not exempt. :yeshrug:

Hundreds of thousands if not millions are carrying it right now. Since it isn’t currently feasible to test everyone simultaneously, carry on until there is a cure. It’s on your package, on your food, your doorknob, etcetera.

It’s a hard truth no one wants to accept.

i saw her recent video too.

i dont think she should make light heart of it which shes been doing but shes being scandalous and trying to stabilize her dollar. the original point is im as confused as she is on the matter, like for real is there a reason to be concerned ?

we are all extra cautious but me personally i think the government need to be handing out food packages or taking shopping orders. either no one is allowed out not an hours break nothing full stop until we can see whats going on.

“Flatten the curve” for an industry that charges $500/night to lay up in hospital serving you jello wants me to care about them. It is here.

Don’t get tested if you have no symptoms, only for celebrities and athletes to come out and say I tested positive, have no symptoms but this is a serious threat to humanity. :yeshrug:

One started and negged for supporting hoe babble.

1) There is an incentive to testing celebrities. It is a fast way of spreading the reality of the virus.

That aside, there is also the financial side of things. Rich people have access to resources that poor people don't. It is something that should have been criticised for a long time but people get squeamish when it comes to fixing your health care system.

2) The idea is to keep things contained so that the understaffed healthcare system is not overloaded.

You stay at home, you risk spreading the coronavirus to a house of people. You go out in public, you risk spreading it to the office, people on the subway etc. They will then take it home to their families.
