You like hearing music from young rappers and Nas. Nothing wrong with that. Some folks prefer the younger perspective and determination.

To each their own. You picked two good albums to like and two albums not to like.

I agree with the OP if you're talking a 2 v 2 comparison. Individually though I have them ranked The Gifted, MCHG, Born Sinner then Yeezus with Yeezus being the worst of the four by a huge margin in my book. It's been a great few weeks for rap that's for sure and I'm proud of Wale and Cole for putting out strong projects that IMO measure up to the projects released by a couple historically great artists during that same time frame.

i still havent even listened to that Wale. his last album + the statue photoshop threads made me never want to pay attention to him again. might check it, but i doubt it.

Born Sinner exceeded my expectations. Solid Effort.

Yeezus wasnt what I expected but its an enjoyable record. Lopsided but likable.

MC is what i expected. Best Jay album since AG on the first couple listens.
