Melle Mel? Yoke The Joker is being compared to Melle Mel? Are u trolling? Honestly. Are u? So u missed his use of alliteration all thru out the verses? How old are u? Yoke The Joker is a classic track and beat. U lost ya mind.

That’s cause u didn’t pay attention. It was part of his natural style so he didn’t have to announce it in the title of a song like Pap or Saigon did. Treach was one of the best in rap when it came to alliteration.

Check out the style that I've
Soul-simulated, sounds from a stocky
Semi-social, never seem sloppy
See, silly-slappin' suckers, sorry saps, and slouches
Straps slam in style, smackin', this man's a savage
Least see so-so-songs and some shots, so
Snatch seven samples, start slowly, go solo
Set the cassette stereo, sounds diffin'
Strip the Sagittarius and marriage is a system
Smoke the joker three times over…”

This and Diplomats Volume 4 are my 1 and 2.
I still have the CD of that Vol 3 and 4 from the Diplomats, those were 🔥
I liked Saigons Warning Shots as well, that one was was nice. I used to think around that time in 06 Saigon had Next in the game but with the label and so on it took years for his official debut to drop and by that time the buzz had died down but the album was good.

buck alright? almost sounds like he had a stroke or something. props to him though i be forgetting how many classic joints he produced
Something isn't right, not lucid whatsoever. He was answering questions with weird timelines, long, drawn out responses that didn't answer the original question etc.

Alphabetical Slaughter was like '98/'99. It was the first thing I heard him drop, after being on Roots of Evil. But you can no longer find it with the original beat.

I remember the Roots of Evil feature too, in fact I only listened to the original Alphabet Slaughter because of the feature (that's the power of G Rap lol).

I liked the original (hence why I bought it back then), the re release was way too forced, didn't sit on beat.

*But the re release is the reason Pap has a career, so they proved me wrong.

Saigon confirmed Tru Life and them pistol whipped Alchemist in the studio lol when they ran down on Mobb Deep
What's the consensus story on what really happened there? On SOHH it was claimed they stripped everyone in the studio, with the exception of Big Twins
