I don’t think it’s pointless but we have yet to see a generational defining game. The only thing that I seen was the Matrix tech demo.

That’s why I don’t understand why Sony is rushing the PS6. The PS5 hasn’t been pushed enough yet. It seems like GTA 6 will do it.

kinda...game and graphical jump is mid....i mean expedition 33 which is piff but it looks like a late to mid ps4 title shyt GOW looked better than that game and that was a ps4 gamesame with spidey etc ...only difference is resolution and frames...which some games still struggle to hit...the resolutions are all jedi mind tricks,, very few game hit real 4k /60ps and if they do its a choppy 30....

the best graphical games were what, spiderman 2, Horizon,ratchet, GOW....2 of those were on the 4 like really

The main issue people are having concerning the console gen is the lack of first party games, that make you thrive on copping a PS5 or XSX. At this point, the only reason why I play with mines is to actually have a online session without hackers fukking it all up, also OG Sony games on fleek.

Lots of nostalgia/rose tinted glasses affecting perception. Not to mention comparison of entire generation(7 years) to 4 1/2 years currently. I'd bet if someone had to play all of those cross gen games on a regular PS4 they'd be shocked at how inferior it is to a standard PS5 in terms of speed, image quality and performance.

People just have to come to terms with the idea that “exclusives” don’t make sense for anyone anymore.

That’s actually a good thing for consumers. But consoles wars has told us the only value the consoles have is based off a comparison with other consoles. So some people are having trouble with the idea that PS5 can be worthwhile without any real exclusives.

PS3 was peak but at least PS4 brought us Watch Dogs, RDR 2, TLOU 2, Uncharted TLL, Days Gone and more solid games. All original shyt! PS5 don’t even have a Metal Gear Solid



Damn all these remastering and remakes. I wish people stopped buying them. So we can move on.

PS5 absolutely has been the most underwhelming and that’s not even a controversial thing to say.
