There will always be guys that can wrestle but dont have the IT factor and it looks like Sami Zayn is one of them. 
It's funny how people here want to criticize fans for not cheering Roman Reigns. But yet Zayn is naturally over with most crowds and people want to start changing him.
It makes you question who really are the "smarks" and "neckbeards".

Vince and company book every babyface as an underdog and corny it's why heels always get more love from the fans. Cena for all most of his own career has been booked as an underdog. The whole hulk up/super Cena thing was always after he would get his ass kicked for a good portion of the match.Sami is a great wrestler and was in some of the best matches the E had to offer last year not involving AJ Styles. But he works best as the underdog and Vince doesn't care about underdog babyfaces.
Don't forget how they booked Mysterio had him jobbing left and right on tv only to win at the PPV as the Ultimate underdog.
Watering down Sasha and trying to make her an underdog to make Charlotte bigger, Bayley as the lovable underdog.
When I was at raw in July Sami came out THREE times and got a pop each time. Vanilla.

Sammi zayn is the perfect example of what happens when you take a big fish outta of a small pond & drop it in the ocean.
It gets eaten alive.
Sammi Zayn strives in small arenas like nxt, but struggles to be a major player on the big stage such as RAW.
I actually think he would be a better fit for smackdown. Less competition & more likely to be a main eventer.

He might have a Daniel Bryan like run in 2 years from now. He still got time to develop.
Just shows that if Vince and HHH fukk with you then you are good and if not then you will flutter in mid card purgatory. Zayn was seen as just as big as guys like Owens Joe etc. but yet and still he cant get the momentum to make some noise. That falls on booking cause the guy is over as hell and can go in the ring.
Zayn is indie trash who should stay in the dark match scene
