i used to have a list of shyts i wanted to sample, back when i made beats that is. a lot of them had already been sampled it turned out though

One of my producers sampled this . . I absolutely hated the song when it was out so I rejected it
shyt like the first link shows that trap music can and should be respected (there's wide range of uses). If these producers were smart they'd start linking up studios in the film and video game industry and get work in those soundtracks (horror films, video games, etc)
And as far as Kush and OJ, you may know this but "Never Been" samples a song form the Chrono Trigger soundtrack
