Didn't Soundscan already comfirm that since Samsung bought the album in bulk that Jay-Z can't go platinum?

SOUNDSCAN aren't the ones that certify artists platinum. it's RIAA. and by technical rule, RIAA certifies albums and singles by the number its shipped to stores and not by the numbers that been purchased... so, this is no different from it being shipped to stores.
