So i've been recently playing with my new Samsung Galaxy S7 edge. And i must admit, this thing is a beauty. I've been using my Iphone 6Splus now with out any complaints for the past few months, but this phone caught my eye. This phone came onto my radar when my boy Flossycarter gave it a great reveiw on his channel. (Its hilarious if you haven't seen it.) With the high def screen, edged screen, and polished appearance i was intrigued.
Fast forward to two days ago. I've finally goten the phone setup and running and i'm fukking impressed! Here are some of my favroite things about the phone and why i like it over the Iphone 6S so far:

  • The phone is lightweight (especially when compared to my 6Splus) while keeping the screen size the same and packing in more pixels! Much more comfortable to use one handed than Iphone 6Splus
  • Almost nonexistent bezel! - that curved screen is absolute piff! Plus those edge apps are convient.
  • ITS WATERPROOF!
  • Amazing Camera - While the Iphone camera is no slough, the camera is blazing fast and autofocuses quick as shyt. Video recording isnt' as good as iphone though
  • VR - I copped a samsung VR unit, and i must admit it looks great. Especially for a cell phone VR setup. As someone that owns a Vive, its clearly and inferior experience to that, but it is more than sufficient in relaying the VR experience to the USER.
  • WIRELESS CHARGING! - This is huge! I enjoyed this feature many years back during the glorius reign of the Nokia produced WINDOWS PHONES (namely the Nokia 1080), so its nice to see modern manufacturers finally bring this ancient tech into modern phones. Can't believe i've been without this so long since i've rocked my iphone.
  • Better multitasking - its very nice to be able to run to apps simultaneously side by side. Can't believe the Iphone hasn't implemented this into their iOS yet.
  • QUICK CHARGING - I can wireless charge my phone in a little over an hour from dead to full. Pretty fukking amazing.
  • Widescreen selfie camera - very dope for taking better, cleaner selfies (Something the anti-social crowd likely wont' give a fukk about)
  • Expandable memory! - Im about to load my 200gig mem card and be good. Don't really like the way Apple controls your OFFLINE music once you install Apple music. I'll be looking forward to having direct control over my music again.
In short, this is the GOAT cell phone. Will likely go down in history as one of Samsung's best. I advise all those looking to rock the best cell phone on the market to cop ASAP.

EDIT: Flossy Carter's Review

I was gonna wait on the new Note Edge, but I want an unlocked version of this. Been a couple of months now and my Xperia been dropped too many times. Time 2 upgrade. :steviej:

I'm so tempted to venture back into the Andriod market as recent phones from Samsung and others have been...epic.

However, iMessage and FaceTime have me locked in with Apple. They are just a dream to work with...
  • Seamless video connection with my family from all across the US to over in the Philippines.
  • Seeing my toddler interact with family on the other side of the planet...:wow:
  • Sending pictures directly from MacBook to family via iMessage
  • Don't have to have worry about the less tech-savy members of my family having to install various apps and shyt.
At this point, hardware features are almost at parity. It's the software offerings that tip the scale for me. And Apple has, at least for my family, better offerings that will have us buying iDevices for quite some time.

I message and Facetime is dope no doubt. But just get an ipad. You can do all that on there.

that defeats the purpose of the convenience.

And a phone cant be the GOAT unless its getting seamless software updates for more than 2 yrs. IMO Nexus devices are the only Android devices worth a damn. I will give Samsung Props on having the best Camera.

Im keeping myy 6Splus as a backup, but the S7 Edge will most def be my main phone.

Galaxy Phones tend to be well supported breh. They just don't get updates as quick as Nexus phones, but the phone feel so much more premium than the Nexus 6P. I own that phone as well. That one and my old Iphone 6plus about to go on Swappa anyways.
