Samuel L Jackson was already talking down on rappers turned actors in 2003?

This song came and Cube threw a shot at his ass :ehh: you can tell Samuel I'mma keep acting

I thought it started in 2005 when he said he'd refuse to be in a movie with 50 Cent

Above the fray.
He feels the same way that rappers felt about novelty rap acts coming out and releasing albums . Studios cast hip hop acts for box office, no way a trained actor who paid dues and worked on his craft for years would respect novice showing up on a film set. Jackson was just the one to say it.
