So rumors are the Birds aren't going to the White House to see the Orange Overload. MAGA is upset, lol. They didn't go in 2018 either.

Love that picture of Jalen, Donovan, Cunningham and Vick. Also before the Super Bowl there were conspiracy theorist saying we were going to lose because our record would be 666-666, lol. But yes, the Super Bowl win does put us over .500 for the first time ever. I don't think people realize how many losing seasons the Eagles had to start out the franchise. it really did put us in a hole for decades. We are also three games above .500 in the playoffs now too 29-26. Not to get ahead of myself but if they somehow go Back to Back, that would be 3 Super Bowl wins in 8 years with 3 appearances in the last 4.

What direction do you think we go in first and second round of the draft?

Wouldn't be shocked if we go Edge or DT in round 1 and TE in round 2

I agree. Given how well Goedert played in the playoffs I don't think TE round 2 is popular notion amongst fans. But his injury history and Calcaterras blocking issues make me think a TE is an important pick up. I'd like to make sure whatever TE we draft can block, however. Calcaterra can catch fine.

I think a DL round 1 is very likely unless an OT who can succeed Lane falls that Stoutland is really high on.

Whether thats a true DT or an "interior" DE is less clear to me. A power-focused DE is probably as useful as a DT for us right now. I don't want a speed DE nearly as much (except when Abdul Carter gets caught with 92 bricks and falls to us in the first round).

My pick this year is Jared Wilson, C, from UGA in round 4 or 5. He's got it all: UGA guy, leader, insane 40 time. We had Lane dikkerson snapping the ball in the playoffs last year. Jurgens was a beast at Guard the year before, and he is having a back procedure. Wilson has the potential to be a Kelce style fast center. And even if Jurgens has no issues all year we could put a speedster like Wilson in Jumbo sets and run sweeps behind him. Jordan Wilson you heard it here first.

I would like a late round RB who can passblock and ideally catch to replace Gainwell. That should be gettable in the late rounds.

So first few rounds to me is IDL, OL and maybe a TE.

Then ideally opportunistically fill out some utility in the later rounds with a blocking TE, blocking RB, and maybe even a backup Safety since we have a gap there.
