“The Boss” Sasha Banks has opened up for the first time about getting secretly married last year and says the whole thing was kept under wraps because she feared negative online reactions.


Sasha appeared on this week’s episode of Making Their Way to the Ring with Lilian Garcia and spilled the beans about her relationship once the former WWE announcer asked about her wedding.

“OK, you know what? Yes. I’ll tell you. You’re the first one I’ve admitted it to. I am married. I just hide it because our fans are so crazy sometimes, you know?” Banks explains, “Fans are just so crazy. I see what they write to him on Twitter, and I don’t like that stuff. If you’re saying he’s ugly, or he shouldn’t be with me because of this or that. That hurts me.”

As we previously reported, the wedding was officiated by Konnor from The Ascension.

Banks also commented on fans who are angry about not getting a chance to woo her themselves and says they wouldn’t have stood a chance anyway. Sorry, gentleman.
