Aw man that Puff record wasn't hot. The label may have been acting funny but that joint (Do You See/Star Wars) wasn't going to pop.
I didn't even realize the record was officially named "Do You See" I just remember the mixtape version I think the chorus was slightly different.

:heh: Damn Jay used his industry clout to block Sauce's project because he wouldn't wear Roc-a-Wear after he stopped fukking with him....Jaz went told Jay after hanging with Sauce...Sauce's label called him and told him "you better make up with your man or we can release your album"...so he had to fall back and apologize

Jay been running to the crackers to get his boys blackballed over petty sh1t for years

:russ:

Sauce just totally legitimized the Cam, Dame and Beans rumors.. Because if he called the crackers on Sauce (who he came up with from the sandbox) you know he didn't give two fukks about some Harlem and Philly nikkas..

lol that's true but I'd bet THEY ALL DID IT to someone at some point in time. Maybe they couldn't call a label but they could call a DJ they know and say "I suggest you don't fukk with so & so they do bad business" or "If you're rocking with ME, you can't rock with him". And I'm not riding for Jay at all that's just how these dudes play in the industry.
Lol at Jaz-O coming through with bags of Rocawear fits and Sauce Money making him shake the spot like he was a fiend or something.. hahaha
