Could you imagine if the US tried to institute "regime change" to Saudia Arabia? The world would shyt on itself.
You really believe getting rid of an oppressive monarchy that PAYS satellite groups that promote real terrorism in other countries will leave the world worse off?

Serious question.

The question is if the ends justify the means. I'm not saying that SA is beyond reproach, I'm saying the immediate end results of going to war with Saudia Arabia would be a clusterfukk.

My response is it already is breh.

They bombed the fukk out of Yemen, fund every terror group in the ME, and constantly promote Sunni-Shia conflict.

Their only currency is oil. But is it actually worth all this?

Fam, this is what would happen:

1. The KSA is run by a compromise by the religious entity and the royal entities. Not sure if you knew this.

2. If you can believe it, the Royals want subtle reforms.

3. The religious hardliners don't want reform

4. If you remove the royal family, the religious entities will fill in that void with far more fervor and brutality.

5. KSA will actually get WORSE if you remove what we're dealing with.

Sir I lived half my life in the UAE.

Now moving along. I'm just debunking the theory that what is in place is better than some doomsday hardline shadowy regime ready to pounce.

Let's stop the fairytales. Those hardliners don't have the sway you think they do. They're actually an arm of the current monarchy. Corrupt and soulless.

1. I'd love to hear about your time in the UAE
2. Those hardliners are the ones taking the money and sending it abroad to fund the fukkery the rest of the world has to deal with

Sidenote: I've heard the theory that the raid on the Hajj in the 70s was a breaking point for the development of the compromise that gave the religious hardliners so much more power, do you agree?
