Just saw it.....and this film is a fukking MESS. If you think Taylor Kitsch is a terrible actor, this will do nothing to change your mind. He's by far the worst actor on the screen.

There are a lot off really odd, distracting choices Oliver Stone makes...like the clock/countdown, the random black and white....but nothing was worse than the narration. Not only was the narration pointless, lazy and distracting, but Blake Lively is an awful narrator.

fukk THE ENDING. Seriously, fukk Oliver Stone. That's the most bullshyt manipulative nonsensical ending I can remember seeing. Easily the worst part of the film

However, Benicio Del Toro was fantastic. His slightly off, quietly maniacal Mexican-mafia-hitman was perfect. One of my favorite performances this year so far. Best part of the film, easily.

All that said, I enjoyed it

the problem i have with this movie is the idea that cartels, especially say, gulf, or zetas or whoever moving north, would even bother fukking kidnapping anyone, they would clap these dudes, murder the girlfriend and take the trade for themselves, then these dudes were on some army two type shyt in the commerical, get the fukk outta here.

end of watch looks like a much more realistic portrayal of what happens when these dudes move up north

this movie looks extremely far fetched but im really hoping its good.

oliver stone use to be one of my fav directors, but man he fell off hard. last movie i liked from him was Alexander and that was damn near 10 years ago.

im going to see either this or moonrise kingdom tommorow.... but the way its lookin it might be moonrise kingdom
