Which is weird because nowadays I don't think this movie would be popular with black women...they don't even like supporting an actor who is dating white broads...let alone in romantic relationships with them on screenYou couldnt talk down on this movie back in highschool all the hoes immediately put you on their shyt list if you did

It doesn't hold a candle to O, which had the ONE black guy at a private school (who played basketball) killing folks over her plain jane ass.
I know it was based on Othello, but who the hell was casting films in the early 2000s? Julia Stiles has never been hot.
It was progressive. You have a dark-skinned man with a big nose and wide lips and all of that and his natural hair kissing — romantically kissing a white woman onscreen. She’s not his slave owner. He’s not a bedbuck. It’s not trying to make any social or political statements. They’re simply a couple in love.

I caught some face to that movie
