Once I realized that it was like a light clicked on in my head
I always blew money, knew I could make it back, living check to check. I saved money for an event (buying a car, security deposit, etc.). Now I see you should just save period. Now I think about all the money I could have if I saved since 18 but it's okay
It's like joining the gym. People just want to get their body right for the summer but, that's the wrong philosophy to take, it's supposed to be a lifestyle change, a permanent thing. Start socking away 10% every pay just to get started, then up it to 20-30% and watch your money grow. You'll love yourself
