The movie has a lot of underrated black male actors in it and a couple black female actors.

Acting in this movie was superb, though there was a lot of singing and it looks like they was really promoting that guy who played ralph tresvant in the New Edition biopic's singing skills

Movie was about the detroit riots but more so focused on the events that occurred in the Algier hotel between several police officers, a black body guard, military dude, two white women and the black people staying at the hotel.

John Boyega played a security guard

Tyler James williams of everybody hates chris was also in the film.
