Nothing they can do. Biden can't remove judges and impeachment/removal needs 67 votes in the Senate. Plus it would be terrible politically to even try to impeach them.

This. If Biden (hopefully for the love of humanity) wins, I think the priority should be getting younger Supreme Court judges in there. Trump's two judges are the youngest ones in the Supreme Court; I can imagine if Biden were to win, RBG would step down after he's sworn into office since she's been having health issues and maybe try convincing Beyer to step down since he's in his 80's as well. Because of no fillibuster in place, if Dem's win the senate, they could be able to confirm pretty much anyone unless they somehow have skeletons in their closets.

Appropriate Trump is on par with Jimmy Carter. Professor Corey Robin made the comparison between Carter and Trump back in the early days of Trump's presidency in 2017. The parrallels of both men having their party control both houses of Congress, and both men not enacting their agenda (though Carter was much more productive looking back but he didn't achieve the universal healthcare which should have passed).
Unlike Jimmy Carter, Trump has been remarkably weak. And that may turn out to be his salvation.

Unfortunately most people don't remember civics. They don't understand what you just said. Judge appointments should be a one issue vote, like the Repubs do with it and abortion. Funny how the c00ns never really address this.

Its the reverse of Jimmy Carter who didn't have a SCOTUS nominee but managed to completely reshape the lower federal courts with the Dem Senate at the time. People don't realize this but some of Carter judges are STILL working to this day.

Breyer and Ginsburg are givens if the Dems win the Senate. Gotta put some 45 year old liberals there and he said one would be a black woman.

If the election is great for the Dems, then Trump and McConnell will use the lame duck time of November and December to keep pushing judicial nominees. And you'll see atleast one of Thomas or Alito stepping down. Actually, there's chatter that Alito might step down before the fall.
