1) I never said hip hop was "trash" that's you trying to sell your argument that nobody's buying. '

I said that we need to move on from what it's become, which is a clown show.

2) you ready to be the 5th muthafukka to DODGE a ban bet? I want 3 months and half your rep :sas2:

I pressed the EJECT button on hiphop since 2009. :russ:
I'll admit I fell in love with the shyt in my late teens early 20s trying to fit in in America. And i really loved it for a while as sometimes i still go back and listen to some old joints (the roots, Wu-tang, dead prez, De La Soul, Talib Kweli) i loved back in those days. But over time shyt got weirder and weirder to the point it made no sense. Honestly once you reach a certain level of maturity you realize that most the genre (hiphop) makes no sense and a lot of artists are borderline garbage that labels prop up to make a buck off the day's trends.

Me discovering african music (Soukous and afrobeat) back in 2006-ish didnt help hiphop's case either. I have since fallen back to caribbean, french caribbean, latino, african and other joints. Might mix in some random hiphop every now and then but it's like 1 out of every 500 joints i jam to will be hiphop nowadays.

Hip hop on the mainstream level will never be positive, political, spiritual, or entertaining without being lewd and lascivious EVER again...period. we need to just accept that.

that's why we need to just move on to and create something else, let them have it, look at this bullshyt:
