They spoofed the number lol. This is very common.just got a call from a random ass number i didn't recognize, but then the voicemail they left was from a different number than the one it said was calling

So far its been weird...
Like she's from Ukraine and living in LA. And she's into the crypto market and does beauty stuff. The conversations are all over the place due to language barrier, awkward timing and me not actually giving a shyt:
Pen Pal Jawn: "Hello Koala"
Koala: "Hey how you doin?"
Pen Pal Jawn: "just looking at these *insert some weird activity involving crypto that I need a six cert gang member to interpret"
Koala: "oh ok, I'm just writing and doing due diligence"

I had one of those a couple of years ago too
Did some Googling on Compuserve with the IBM 486 and turn to find out, the pen pal jawn was a fukking scam. I knew the dead giveaway was the conversation going from "AWWWW I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU"*shows wife, son, and marsupial on a beach*
"Awwww....cute family....what do you do?"
Koala: "Struggling writer, musician, and currently disabled"
Scam bot:
The conversation goes from interesting to ".....this is awkward"
Bad enough, I swear the shyt malfunctioned and gave me Chinese calligraphy instead of a random text. She had a cute poodle tho, but I won't fall for Dogset theatrics
