What the hell is he talking about? The people "in charge" now are more diverse now. They were MORE white and Jewish in the 80s and 90s

these black execs really aren't in charge of chit. they do what theyre told at the end of the day. and to top it off, most of these black execs really aren't hip-hop heads anyway.

now ask yourself, whatever happened to the black CEO in hip-hop? theyre darn near extinct, and the only ones still standing are the ones that would sell their soul for a buck. a couple of em already did.

yeah i mean i know the spc got fans worldwide..from texas all the way to kuwait...

its jus funny out of all the underground cats who was on the scene at the time....he picked lil flip..n rino face willie d big mello...useta freestyle at the same rhinestone club in the 80s

whats so funny about it?

lil flip was by far the hottest free agent out the south. his name was ringing bells across the board.

on the other hand, k-rino most likely would not have blown up. and it has nothing to do with him being "smart" and flip being supposedly "dumb"(flip had skills, btw).

launching def jam south with a k-rino as the #1 or #2 guy would've been a disaster.

:manny:

alot of them rappers that came from Face's era was a little prejudice on the low... :manny:
