Scariest/creepiest shyt you've experienced

Some of what you guys are experiencing, such as weird shyt you are seeing late at night or early in the morning is due to sleep deprivation. You can remain awake but your brain starts to shut down in ways anyway. In minor cases you see odd shyt out of the corner of your eye. In extreme cases you get full blown hallucinations, audio and visual. And I mean negative ass bad trip type hallucinations. Start seeing bugs and shyt that aren't there but you legit can't tell the difference between what's real and what's fake. It's amazing how people see the exact same shyt when they have these kinds of hallucinations. It's a common torture technique.

I saw a shadow person creep across the side of my house once. Dude was wearing a cloak and a wide brimmed hat. shyt had me shook as hell. I thought someone had broke into the crib because it was near a window. Nobody was in the house though.

Then I get online and find out it's a phenomenon the world over.

shyt has been around forever. But I had never even seen anything on it until I had my experience.

Edit : The article has added a line about it being common among meth users now, since the last time I read it. I've never touched meth, which is a common white trash drug around here. And I was dead sober when I had my experience.

@DanicaCray one time I was in the Deep South chilling outside with a group of people at night, but there were street lights on (this is significant because there was virtually no noise, as opposed to places with lots of air traffic from aviation), when what looked like a hang glider or biplane went by right over the tree tops (it was pretty close) and it was COMPLETELY SILENT. It also seemed unmanned.

It was going very very very slow, it made no noise, it was maintaining its altitude and there was absolutely no wind.

Everyone looked up, saw it going by overhead, we looked at each other and NO ONE said a word.

I don't know if anyone was scared at that moment. But looking back now... I have no idea what the hell that was.

How does something glide/fly with no wind, no noise and no engine.

So I'm a soldier stationed in Alaska returning from ski training with 2 other cac soldiers.

We're headed down this road that's like a 2 lane street except it's dirt. In the winter though it's covered in snow and ice. We're going like 5 miles per hour cause the road is rough. To our right is the hill we just came from training. To the left is a thin treeline separating us from the main road on base, a 4 lane highway. Only like 50 feet of trees.

I'm dozing in the back, the cacs talking.

Suddenly I hear, "FUUUCK". And I look up to see Bigfoot in the middle of the road like maybe ten yards in front of us. Then we're all screaming, driver slams on the brakes.

Bigfoot was striding cross this road in like 2 steps. Like his 1st step put him in the middle of the road and he sort of paused and looked us dead in our eyes! On some type shyt. His next step took him to the edge of the road and toward the hill where he went down this bank toward the frozen river next to the hill.

We're just sitting there stunned. Everything quiet, each man in his own world. Seemed like hours but I know it probably wasn't a minute. The cac in the passenger seat finally suggested we get out and go look at the footprints.

So we start going again. First thing out everyone's mouth was, "That's not a bear...". Yeah bears can walk on 2 legs, but not cross a road on them in 2 strides.

That cac was like 8-9 feet tall! Look like he was almost wide as he was tall. On its head you can tell that was hair, not fur.

The face is like a ape, but even more so like a man. A man with a a a few chromosomes missing though. It's the eyes and how big and round they are. But you see intelligence in that face, you can just see it.

So we tell everyone what we saw, get laughed at, and pretty much drop it. Except I did report it to F&G. They interviewed me over the phone and confirmed there's something called "wildman". Dude said they're peaceful and won't harm you. He asked me for the location and did we collect any evidence.

This began my research into Bigfoot almost 20 years ago.

I think everyone's gone through the trying to wake up but can't situation. It can be weird especially when you can sense that it will reoccur when you try to go back to sleep (very heavy like feel, body and mind). So today it happened but I thought I could actually see what was holding me down (sorta like a blurry thing with its arms on my shoulders.). Since I don't really believe in shyt I kinda shrugged it off thinking that it must be in my mind but I've never actually seen something over me. I was struggling to move and really felt like I was completely awake and aware of my surroundings. shyt was crazy

I was outside of a SC in Dallas, cant remember the name, I'm posted up on my homies S class, we shooting the sh*t, real Crip sh*t. then this group of like 6 slobs packed in a toyota corolla with a bad fred paint job start set trippin. I move my shirt to show my S&W M&P, my homie goes to the trunk and grabs his AR15, they drove off so quick
