I'm still sitting around watching goodfellas.
As far as my own tips, check out "rise of the footsoldier". Based on a true story of football fans in england turned drug dealers. Real gritty.

I don't remember one single great american "gangster" film post 2000, just pure mediocrity (American Gangster, The Departed, Road To Perdition, Public Enemies, etc.). All the great stuff was either foreign or a series.

Now "Crime" is a broader term (e.g. both No Country For Old Men and The Dark Knight could be described as crime movies).

Is Avengers a crime movie? :krs:

:win:
