I need to know the benefits.

If I am (team name) fan and i live in the same city or state would I still get to enjoy the games? Or does it only works if you don't live in the same city or state?

Example: Knicks fan in NYC , would the fan be able to watch Knick games if they buy League Pass?
Is it worth it?

Teams in local markets will be blacked out. Whatever you do only get the cable version cuz the broadband one lags like a bytch. It's decent but no where near as good as MLB tv or NFL game pass.

I've had it for a couple years now and I'm routinely blacked out of the team in my market. So I'd venture to say no, you wouldn't be able to watch the Knicks from NY.

I think that depends on the deal your team had with the local cable company.
Ex. I have Directv. I've had it since getting back from my last deployment in 2009 and since I've gotten out of the military. The Rockets have this huge deal with Comcast so I'm not allowed to watch Rockets game since I stay in Houston.

But I don't give a shyt becuz I don't really care for the Rockets.

Only way you could get local games is if you buy the broadband one and run it through your gaming system. You would need a friend or family member who doesn't live in NY to buy it with there credit card though and than just log in with your xbox.

I've had league pass for years and never had that problem. You might need to upgrade your internet.
