I'm going to post what I posted in the other thread about the failure of integration in this thread.

The reality of the situation unfortunately is that in the United States, real successful integration on a wide scale is not possible because you can't force people to not leave when another race moves in and goes to their schools.

In Singapore where they are much less like a western democracy and often called a nanny state, they got this problem nipped in the bud and pride themselves as being a peaceful multicultural society. Deservedly so. Here is what they did. They FORCED integration of groups down to where you're allowed to live and having quotas of how many people of a specific race can live in a housing development. Basically forcing people to interact and forcing cohesion regardless of culture and race.

Obviously that would never fly here in the U.S. Without a civil war taking place. As stated in the story and other sources, schools that didn't experience white flight and successfully integrated only saw positive outcomes.

However, there are still other options. Look at the KIPP program and various programs of that nature that target low performing minority neighborhoods and they can provide a model to fix the achievement gap. However, as with anything, the lack of widespread adoption boils down to money :francis:.

You don't HAVE TO have a fully integrated school for success, however letting governments and society as a whole condone segregation, and it becoming the new wave is not going to end well for blacks in this country when we have 100+ years of separate but equal to prove that wrong.

This majority anti-black country will ensure blacks get scraps and no more. Any politician even think about of giving monies outside of the local property taxes already going to that school to "Those people", will be voted out of office asap.

To expand on KIPP, out of curiosity I looked up their website.

Check out the result of KIPP Nashville, in particular page 12 and 13 as it relates to testing scores. They have 162 schools across the country at the moment.

Also check out page 17 as it relates to college attendance and more importantly, attrition rates after the first year. Anyone who genuinely cares about this topic should be excited by these results
