So, there's a road a couple of miles from where I live. Mainly single family homes of middle class people who are all white. It's quite rural and each property has a lot of land, some is actual farm land. Anyway, my wife overhears some woman who lives on that road that residents on that road wake up on Election Day to see a brochure on their front door. It just says the Klan is very much alive and exists locally. Nothing else.


I live in a more diverse neighborhood, suburban and not rural. Considering the county where I live, I am not surprised. But, it's not cool. I'm not white, so I've got to start packing again when I go out. Packing heat that is.

I'm in a semi-rural area where rednecks have the Confederate flag on their property (retard about 10 houses away from my house) and Confederate flag stickers on their car/trucks.
Then, there are these people who are proud of being related to a Confederate soldier. I've never seen that until I moved to this area. They are "Sons of the Confederate" or something. It's like, that war was over a hundred years ago, you don't have anything else to hang your dumb hat on?

It hasn't made local news. There might be an article on it in the local newspaper. But, there was heavier cop presence at the nearby polling places. My polling place had zero cops.
