if i'm traveling for more than a week, i plan to wash them. especially back when i took trips where i'm likely to wear multiple in one day (ie you might be out hiking or walking around town all day, come back, shower, get dressed to go to dinner, or you hit the gym, and need a clean pair for the rest of the day, etc)
