It brings the issue to the forefront.

And besides if players cannot kneel to bring attention to murdered people who look like them, there is no chance they have the solidarity to come together and balance the CBA.

I really don't think it does at this point.

It's just a gesture.

Say something, speak up in press conferences. Do the Twitter stuff like Colin did.

Sitting and eating during the anthem is more of just a "fukk you" than it is a an effort to make any change.

Michael Bennett and his brother have been 2 of the most vocal voices about everything that's going on. Michael is 100% about the sitting and more.

"I hope that I can activate everybody to get off their hands and feet and go out into the communities and push helping each other," he told reporters after Sunday's game. "Sit down with somebody that's the opposite sex, sit down with somebody that's the opposite race, different religion and understand that people are different and go out and join the community and try to change the society, change what you're a part of. If you don't like it, keep changing it."

"Charlottesville had a lot to do with it but I think it's just the journey of who I am as a person. I think everybody has a time where they feel like they need to be who they are and stand up for what they believe in," Bennett explained.

I was speaking more on Marshawn hence me referencing the eating part

Bennett are very vocal but you can tell for some reason their dialogue isn't seen as relevant as Kaepernicks

Prolly cause Kaep was first and a SB qb

Da city where the skinny nikkas die
Great usage of imagery juxipixation...

If more black players continue this form of protest..There would be a need from the right to exploit and minimize the impact of this movement...

I could see Tom Brady being used to kneel to create a false sense of solidarity.

They will go to any extreme to silence us
.

:ohhh: This would be the smartest way to quell this. Add in a team signing Kaep and we're right back to forgetting about the problems in this country.

Attention to who though? Brings the issue to the forefront for who? Cacs who dont give a fukk?

I respect Kap for putting his neck out there in the first place and forcing people to talk about certain things. But he has no end game just as these protests dont. Its like begging the white man for a hug and acceptance when we really should be giving them the middle finger if they dont fukk with us and if they're not going to accept us. And thats without mentioning that Kap said he'd stand for the anthem already.. Did he give up?

Who will be next?

It'd be great if someone like Larry Fitzgerald would do it. But, breh is about to retire and probably doesn't want to fukk up his post-football opportunities. :francis:

He's a media darling and doesn't have the complexion for protection. All of a sudden people would be like "I knew that dreadlocked motherfukker would do that..."

A white media darling needs to do it, because the media will still ride with them.
