Can something be done so that search results are listed from newest to oldest? I could have sworn it used to be like that but now if you search for a word, the results come back disorganized.

best way to search this site is by using https://www.bing.com .
it seems like their index of the site is at 4 hours old. so anything posted 4 hours ago can be found using bing.
you can't search by date though since the only date it recognizes is the date the thread was created and not the individual post.
more importantly it indexes content in spoiler tags meaning it's searching the full html of the site.
using the AI deepsearch feature also means you don't have to recall word for word certain posts, it gets the gist of what you'ree looking for and returns relevant results. I didn't know bing search got so good.
