An Amtrak train derailed south of Seattle Monday morning.

Traffic cameras in the area show a train car hanging from an overpass near Dupont, which is southwest of Seattle.

It appears this was Amtrak 501, which is a new service starting today running from Seattle to Portland.

It is unclear exactly how the train derailed but reports state the train hit a truck.

There is no word yet on whether anyone was hurt but first responders are treating this incident as a “mass casualty event.”

Man, I'll reveal something about myself. I get seasonal depression every year once winter rolls around until maybe march. Like my mindstate literally changes and it becomes easy to feel down.

I could not live somewhere like Seattle or somewhere like Alaska where they have winters with only 6 hours of sunlight. I'd be ready to commit that. :mjcry:

The engineer will blame sleep apnea like they always do. Driver in Philly killed eight people and got off.

How much depression can one have with all the legal weed out there?!

I lived there 2 years breh it gets pretty bad. I remember it was like... November and raining and cold and windy and shyt and it was dark at like 3:00 in the afternoon and I looked around and just said to myself, "what the fukk am I doing here?"

On the other hand, April - September is fukking intoxicating. We called it "the seduction".
