Section 8 changing after Oct 1st? 90 day notice? Have yall heard this?

I haven't did the research but my boss said this. She said that after Oct 1st if the government shuts and they're been on Section 8 for 2 years. They get a 90 day notice. If true this will be crazy.

Long term Section 8 should be limited the elderly and the disabled. Not sure what the right answer is for everyone else but it shouldn't be 20+ years. Like I said in the other thread, I knew people that were on there forever and there were folks on the waiting list for years that needed that break.

If u are elderly

If u are disabled or your child is special needs

Then section 8 is ok

But my wife works as a social worker and she tells me about people being on section 8 for 10 years and too lazy to work.. they need to get up out of here
