To be fair I think that mask is fukkin with him. He missed some games and fell out of rhythm, and I think that sweaty mask isn't helpful for a guy who already lacks great stamina and hasn't practiced much in the first place. He's getting good looks and not converting them. In terms of getting good shots I thought he's been dominating the Cs, just needs to convert those looks. He was great in game 1 and his first game back against the Heat. I'm not worried about Embiid in the playoffs, I think he'll be dominant in the future. This is a guy who doesn't even have basketball experience let alone playoffs

The Celtics and Sixers will run the East for a while. But the Sixers took the wrong approach in building around Simmons/Embiid and combating the C's. Their white shooters on the wing are getting abused by a 20 and 21 year old and Rozier. Imagine what Hayward and Kyrie would be doing to them? Or when Tatum/Brown get older and mature? Even Covington who's their designated wing defender can't guard Tatum at all. You need two way players in the Playoffs. Especially if all these guys can do offensively is jack up off balance threes for the most part. Saric is the only one of them who has any variance to his offensive game, and he's been pretty trash this series too.

This is just a history of basketball, the young team really makes it straight to the chip without any setbacks. Philly should be able to rebound and bounce back and control the East for years to come
this is kinda true. I say kinda cause the Celtics young guns are already better than everybody on the sizer outside of embiid and next year u have kyrie and Gordon returning or getting traded for other pieces. Unless they get another star they won’t be able to over come them
