Braves had one of the lowest swing and miss rates in MLB in the regular season and proceed to swing and miss on their first 3 batters.

Small sample size but 5 of the first 6 games being won by the road team this postseason in the Division Series is clearly detrimental to the team that has HFA

I don’t think Murphy has been in the postseason but yes all of them have been here. But they haven’t all come in as the heavy favorite so it’s a different level of pressure, plus Philly plays us really really well.

But both teams (us and Milwaukee) had the same amount of time off. They hadn’t expanded the Wildcard yet, so it was only 1 wild card game in both the NL & AL. The Braves started off that postseason on the road at MIL and lost that Game 1
