Semi-OT: Anyone see tonight's Colbert Report? Daft Punk conflict

So the deal was that Colbert had Daft Punk scheduled to perform tonight for the past few months. Then at the last minute, Viacom steps in and said Daft Punk can ONLY PERFORM at the VMAs.

So Colbert had to put something together and :wow: resulted in one of his best shows ever.

He had a long skit where "Get Lucky" played, while a bunch of actors -- including Jimmy Fallon, Bryan Cranston, Matt Damon -- sang along and danced with him.
To top it off, Robin Thicke came into play Blurred Lines at the end.

Oh, and Daft Punk's VMA appearance was supposed to be a "surprise performance" and he let the cat out of the bag :pachaha:

Still not sure if it was a marketing scheme or a legit fukk up on Viacom's part, but either way it was brilliant.

Colbert da Gawd. Put together a half hour show that will shyt all over the VMAs and has more music than MTV normally shows in a month
