Don't really have time to do this with you today. So in short; you don't have an argument that speaks to the actual point.

As other people have pointed out in this thread; labor patterns have changed a great deal in recent decades(multiple job holders in a home, lack of full time work, more students, less traditional jobs with traditional working hours). This is a stat that addresses one point in Sander's arguement without discussing its actual point.

Yep. That is fact. Too many people working weekends in this service economy. people working on a 24/7 schedule harms America more than anything else.

His point, or atleast the valid point here, is that to afford many things we need in life, primarily healthcare and housing, people are needing to work longer hours to stay out of extreme debt. This doesn't necessarily mean they are getting more hours.

Most portions of stump speeches and the like need qualification. They're by definition broad and often dealing as much in flare as minutiae.
He should have made that point then :pachaha:

All this "what he really meant" doesn't fly with me.

Good points shouldn't need qualification or projections

Go ahead cause all your arguments in here are met with derision anyways.

You really have no defense of what sanders proposes because Sanders doesn't have a plan. Then when questioned its always "well these are stump speeches"

Which is it?

Again, stick to one subject and make a clear point. This is a thread about whether Sander's is being untruthful in his characterization of the American average working hours. It literally doesn't address any plan of his. And at no point have I posted anything in here that praised Sander's remedies for these problems.

He should have made that point then :pachaha:

What? Of course they do.

There's a reason like 70% of statements on fact checking websites are rated somewhat true or mostly true. Politicians, and most everyone else, speak in broad terms.

You're reaching here.
